[ Is that a distorted, but may be recognizable voice? Why, yes, maybe, to those who know her. There's heavy breathing, but it distances itself from the Gear, and there's surprised sounds from a Togekiss, Typhlosion, and Gabite in the background.
Xion shakes her head. No, no, this can't be happening. Wait, she knew this place might have had a chance for something like this, but... A-Ahhghhh... She holds up hands that aren't human, gold talons moving at her will...
Fix this... Have to fix...

I need... I need help. With something. Please.
[ Maybe it doesn't have to be Roxas this time. Maybe it could be Sora. Or Ven. Or anyone. ]
[ooc: 4TH WALL EVENT! GUESS WHO'S GOING TO TRY AND FIND SOMEONE TO FINISH HER? She'll be under her hood, and underneath she'll look... like this. Just maybe not gigantic. And it can be anyone. Corridors of Darkness can be convenient in traveling around, why can't Johto just allow that...
So yeah! If you're up for a fight, or just to convince this derp and stop her dead (hah) in her tracks from setting on a selfdestruction path... by all means! ]

Stay right there!!
[he commanded her, the image of her face exposed partially with blood a sign of what he expected to be true. there was a human under there after all... a girl with feelings, scared of herself and what she would do to others. whatever was troubling her, what bond she had to this berserk state she was forced into...whatever made her a puppet, it wasn't what she wanted. he was right. she was wrong. far from a puppet, she was just a girl who needed to be saved from herself. to live long enough to atone for what she had done in the past to make things right. but it was dangerous...
I...
1.) Try and talk to her
2.) Don't stop ]
Wake up, you damn idiot!
[if he softened now, she'd just get back up and regain her composure. he had to stop her before she could move. he'd weakened her then, and having the advantage he could project another weapon being within that close of range. but until then, he pulled a rather drastic move. ducking down low in his dash, he reached out to grasp her shoulders, uncaring of the consequences as he went in unarmed. gritting his teeth, he forced her onto her back as he roughly tackled her, straddling the armored Xion's stomach as he forced her wrists into his hands and pinning her beneath him. holding her arms over her head, he took a moment to gather himself and settle his harsh breathing as he stared down at part of the exposed girl. he wasn't letting go any time soon]

When she came toward him like that, she was sure he was going to kill her. End it all and fulfill her goal. But now this? She's... unsure. Just... ]
... why?
[ She's frowning up at him now. The glare's a bit weakened, due to half of her face, and therefore, expression, is still concealed by the helmet. ]
Why're you... trying so hard?
[ They don't know each other. Really. They weren't friends, but he seemed to act as though he was trying to save one. You're so confusing, Shirou. ]
no subject
[he's no longer yelling at her, though he's firm in his choice of words, assertive with his grip as he keeps the girl pinned beneath him. amusingly enough, he still wasn't certain as to what he had to do to free her. everything was on a whim by this point. whatever he had to do to snap her out of this, to get her to suppress it and believe in herself and her own identity...]
[he stops then, giving her time to think. he hasn't ceased, in fact his grip on her tightening as his voice softens, almost soothingly so as his body visibly shook]
I think you deserve a chance. I wanna give you that chance.
no subject
But she looks back up at him. ]
So for your own goals... then?
no subject
Just saving you is enough. Wanting to help others is never wrong.
[admittedly, he was feeling tired too. he'd get used to having less prana soon, and if he had to, he'd keep fighting. but he didn't want to do that. he never wanted to from the start. he just wanted to make this girl happy. a nameless face of many that he swore his sword to. that was Emiya Shirou's purpose, and he'd live this life without any regrets]
Whatever this is...just fight it, okay? I wanna let you go so we can just talk. [he'll think about where he is later... but as he looks down to her, there is nothing but truth in his words and sincerity in his eyes]
no subject
After a moment or two, she manages to nod. ]
Talk... okay.
no subject
Is there any way to take off this armor? Looks like I hit you a little hard earlier, so I could see if there's anything I can do.
no subject
Um... I can heal myself. I can probably heal you, too.
no subject
[he says to her being able to heal herself, and not so much to being healed himself. he'd be just fine with some rest, and he managed to get through to her before he had to push himself too hard. admittedly though he was still feeling the effects from Ragnarok and guarding with Rho Aias]
no subject
Curaga.
[ She heals herself, the injury on her head healing up, but the blood remained. Then she moves a hand and utters the same word to Shirou, holding her hand over where her Ragnarok hit him earlier.
Then she just... sits there, unsure of what to do now with this strange man. ]
no subject
there was no other way to get through to her though, otherwise he might have tried to take things easier on her. she was just a kid after all. how could someone like her be just a puppet? she had to at least have a name,]
... [and he watches as Xion chants that one word, magic so simple yet seemingly quite potent as the injury on her head healed up. that didn't do anything for the blood, but he could take care of that easily enough. and then she had held her hand out to him. eyes widening some just in case this lead south and bad, a hitched gasp escaped him as the healing sensation washed through his body. those attacks that had blown away at him before, even the strain on his body from projection, it was gone almost instantaneously. what powerful magecraft... she couldn't have been a Servant, but was she a magus? no, there were too many questions. he'd make this as simple as possible for her. the spell did nothing for the prana he'd used to fight her, but he'd regain that in due time]
Thank you. Ah, here, [and without even having to take a second to think about it, he tugs his hand into his sleeve and reaches out to her, gently pressing his clothed hand against the side of her face in a bid to wipe and dry the blood that remained. uncaring about the fact he'd have blood on his own clothes (he was used to it), he continued to clean her up, inwardly noting that even though his actual hand wasn't touching her, she felt soft to the touch. when all was said and done, he'd gotten most of it and pulled back to sit by her side once more, smiling]
It's not much, but I don't have a rag to clean it with.
no subject
Once he was done, she rubs a knuckle on the spot, then realizes her hand is still armored, so she drops that immediately and bows her head in gratitude. ]
It's fine, really. Um... thank you. [ All of this just feels... WEIRD. Intense fighting and now just a quiet moment of sitting like this? She looks down at her hands, the fingers still talons before she looks back up at him.
Right, he wanted to know... ]
I'm Xion.
no subject
Eh? [he looks her over curiously so when she gives her name, and then realizes that he really did have an impact on her after all. so she wasn't a puppet. she had a name, a name to go with those feelings of not wanting to hurt others. his cheer only brightened then as he rested back against his hands] I'm Emiya Shirou. Nice to meet you, Xion.
no subject
Emiya Shirou. [ She tries the name. At least it was easier to say than others. ] Earlier you said... I remember the term: "Noble Phantasm"? Does that mean you know Saber and Lancer?
no subject
! Y-You know Saber and Lancer?!
[of everything that happened just now, this was one of the most shocking ones. wait... Saber and Lancer. weren't they gone? Lancer died at the Einzbern Castle and Saber vanished along with the Holy Grail... he'd think about all of that later. wherever he was, apparently they existed. that and this girl wasn't a Servant after all if she had to learn about the term. yet...if she was one, would those swords of hers count?]
no subject
Yeah. They're here. You might find them if you search them out. Lancer explained that he and her were Heroic Spirits... But you said your name. I think.
no subject
Saber's my--[ah. that's right. not anymore... not even at the end of the war, his right as her Master was given to Tohsaka. he wasn't disappointed about that. just remembering, and hopefully, never forgetting her]
Well, Saber's my friend. Do you know them well too?
no subject
It's good you're her friend, though. She'd need one.
no subject
Saber's a good person like that. She can at least get along with most people.
no subject
Yeah, I can tell. And Lancer, too. His kid was here before.
no subject
I see. Well, Lancer doesn't seem like a bad guy either. He helped me out a couple of times before. [and tried to kill him a couple of times before, but shhh]
no subject
[ Axeeeeeel! And, shhh, don't tell that to Lancer. She might get ideas. ]
no subject
That's good.
no subject
She holds her head. For a brief second, she saw Shirou and Saber and... Lancer. Shirou's on the floor, behind Saber. ] W-What...?
[ Then she smells the familiar, bitter scent of Darkness. Her head snaps up, and in a flurry of movement, she's gotten one of her Keyblades out and slashes a Heartless that was threatening to get the drop down on Shirou. ]
no subject
Ah...Xion? [he blinks, his smile fading as she holds her head for a moment. was she alright? it was her instincts again, he concluded. he'd talk her through it. they didn't have to fight anymore--]
[--he was dead. he would have been dead had it not been for Xion's sudden reaction as she slashed the Heartless that had snuck up on him. after the mass of darkness began to disappear, Shirou's shocked expression quickly settled into a serious demeanor, wasting no time in getting to his feet as he suddenly realized that they were being surrounded. these shadows... though he couldn't take in the scent of darkness like Xion could, it didn't take someone with extraordinary senses to realize that this wasn't right. nor was it Xion's doing either. if it was, she would have been the one to do him in while his guard was down. unarmed for now, Shirou clenched his fists as he looked at the Heartless that slowly began to surround the two]
