[ The feed opens up with some very excited chirping that can only come from a Togekiss. The feed shifts and bobbles, but finally settles on one Xion lying in bed, who looks to be finally stirring awake. The more Xion moves, the more chatter from Bell emerges and finally, with a faint smile appearing on her lips for only a moment, her eyes open groggily. Due to Bell's cries, her eyes immediately move to her and the Gear, blinking blearily for a moment. ]

It's... what time is it...? [ She moves to slowly sit up with a groan - wow, her body feels so sluggish - before reaching for the Gear. A few button mashing here and there, and... ]

Ah! It's late! And the date...! [ In her surprise, Xion is trying to scramble out of bed, but due to the fact that she just woke up, she only succeeds in flailing and falling off her bed with a thud. The Gear clatters to the floor, yet amongst Bell's worried chirps, there's a faint sound of laughter coming from Xion. ]

I slept for that long... But... [ Bell flies over the Gear, most likely to Xion. ] It's okay, Bell. I'm okay. I was... home. I need to talk to a few people, and--

[ And then her stomach rumbles. Very loudly at that. There's a long pause, and another soft laugh follows. ]

... but I think I can do that after I eat.

[ There's the sound of Xion shuffling to her feet, the Gear is picked up and closed. ]

[ Action ]

[ And true to Xion's words, Xion could be found in the Breeding Center's kitchen several minutes later cooking some very tasty pancakes. Surprised? Well, it's not like she did talk about her other hobbies, anyway... ]

It did, but it was resolved. There were some big heroes in my dream.

[an amused little sound. Heroes, huh? Good to know at least something went right.]

Too bad you couldn't bring them back with you. We could use a few heroes around here.

Well, I know one of them is here...

[ Slightly happier tone here. And no, she is not thinking of Riku, shut up. ]

And who's that?

[A friend, clearly, if Xion's taken that tone. Riku, maybe? Or Ven? It can't be Fang, she's already gone...]

[ She will mourn over that fact later. When she finds out. ]

It was Riku. He helped save the day.

[They can mourn together. Serah's gone, too.

Also, that? That was a surprised noise. She thought it might be him, but she was kind of expecting someone older. But then again...]

Didn't expect that. He's never seemed like the hero type before.

Really? Well... for him, it took a while. He was trying his best to keep his friends safe.

I think that's all he ever wanted.

Maybe, but he hasn't shown it often. He's either the best actor in this world or the worst at showing his actual intentions.

[Or too young to know it's okay to show emotions. Who knows.]

Just give him some time. [ Or just don't be so hard on him all the time. ] It's just the way he is.

I guess so. [sigh, then an amused little noise.] I know the type.

[After all, she's hard on everyone. Not just boys who are something like she used to be]

[ You can slightly hear the smile as she says this: ] Kind of like Leon, huh? They're kind of shy about their kindness.

Something like that. [she sounds amused, and more that a little nostalgic.] I just hope someone doesn't have to break Riku's nose to get him to admit he has feelings.

[ Blinks. ] Someone did that to Leon?

Yeah. I had to punch him a couple of times to get him to admit something. Broke his nose the first time.

[or nearly did, anyway. It certainly left a mark.]

[ There's just a pause and you'd know for sure Xion is making a confused face at that. ]

... he... didn't mind that so much, did he? [ Lightning, does that mean you're supposed to punch the people you like? ]

He yelled at me for it, but he didn't hit back, if that's what you're asking. [No, Xion, that's not what punching someone means!]

Well, I mean... Um, is that how you're supposed to act to someone you like to get them to talk?

No. That's not how it's supposed to work. [the answer is immediate, an attempt to nip any trouble in the bud.] People who like each other are supposed to talk, not start hitting one another. Leon was just...stubborn about it.

[granted so was she, but still.]

Oh! Okay, so that was... just something between you two, then? At least it worked out, right?

[ Aside from Leon going away, of course. ]

Mostly. It took a while, though. I think someone else yelled at him, too.

[Two months. That's how long it took for them to work things out, and afterwards...well. Nine months together is better than none. Still hurts though.]

Hm, did they? How did you two, well... find out you liked each other that way?

[There's a rather long delay before she answers, almost as if she's hung up, but then she sighs. How to put this...]

...We started looking at each other differently. As more than friends. It took me a while to figure out what that meant, but...there was no "finding out". Not really. We just knew, I guess.

[ And Xion has her own pause as she mulls over this information. ]

So things just... happen?

[ Looking at each other differently. Well, she's been looking at... someone (or two, ahem) differently... ]

[Oh, how she wishes she could send you to Rise for this, Xion. Light's got no idea.]

I guess. You might want to ask Minnie about it, though. He...Leon was the first person I felt that way about, so I can't tell you if it's normal.

[Though Minnie's idea of what constitutes falling for someone isn't all that normal, either. Sorry, Xion; your female role models are bad with romance.]

Ask Minnie? Okay... Sorry if these were strange questions.
