[ The feed switches on and the first thing you'd see is the close up face of a Cyndaquil, making noises and moving its little arms at the screen until a voice pops in. ]

Axel, what are you doing? [ A pause, and the PokeGear is picked up, moving to show Xion next. She's propped against a wall, most likely sitting on something, but the thing that could be noticeable on her is the gauze pad covering most of her left cheek. She blinks at the screen, then looks back down where the Cyndaquil would be. ]

I guess I should show a bit of my progress... [ There's an affirmative chirp before she fully turns her attention to the PokeGear. ] I finally arrived at Cherrygrove. I'm in a PokeCenter right now.

[ She pauses as she presses a button on her Gear. ] It's still a little while before I get to Violet... [ And she does have to wait for Cecil. ] But we'll get there.

[ Axel is making more noise, almost as though it wants more attention, and Xion smiles slightly, turning to him. ] We made some progress, didn't we? [ Then she turns the screen to show her Cyndaquil waving happily, his flames a bit bigger and brighter on his back. ]

Um... He is. [ Dude looks like Axel. Dude looks like Axel, albeit, a younger, smaller version, but... Xion can't help but just feel that this could be Axel, and she's rather... shocked. Is this him as a Somebody? But he's asking so many probing questions, Xion quickly tries to lay the heat off (get it? /shot) her for the moment. ]

You know Roxas?

[Nodding, he looks a bit sheepish here.] As he was calling me Axel, I was calling him Ventus. So we got that straightened out right away and kind of chat on the side.

[Grinning now though, he gives his temple a little tap.] But hey, I'm Lea! Get it memorized, alright?

[ AND THAT CATCHPHRASE. brb, she's just staring, again, with a sort of wonder and familiarity at you, Lea. ]

[Blinking at that stare, he winds up quirking his head again.]

... Hello, Lea. [ A pause. ] Before, you mentioned some things... You know me from the first time I was here?

Yeah, kind of. You introduced yourself and when I spoke up you took one look at me and hung up. [His head is going to quirk the other direction now.] Do I look like someone you know or something? That's kind of the feeling I've been getting...

You... do look a lot like him, yeah.

Huh... well, I guess that kind of explains it. [Rubs his chin idly, thoughtfully just looking at her before shrugging.] Ah well, it's not a big deal, I was just wondering. [Smiling a bit then, he was joined on the screen by his own fire type, Isa the Flareon giving a curious peer into the gear and waving her yellow furred rump in his face.]

H-hey, Isa, can't you see I'm talking here...?

Isa? [ Blinks at the Flareon. ] Yours?

Yeah, named after my best friend. [Grins a bit, and since Isa himself isn't all that far away, he's turning the video for a brief moment to show his friend with the spiked blue locks. And then, there is more Flareon moving in the way to rub her face against the feed, as if trying to snug the girl on the other side.]

[ Isa... Why does she feel like there's some significance to that name? Try as she might think over it, she's distracted by the Flareon rubbing her face on the screen. She smiles a little. ]

Hello, Isa. Nice to meet you.

[Isa the Flareon gives a pleased coo and licks the feed before Lea pulls it away, laughing and wiping the smear off.] I think she likes you and she's only just met you!

[ Her smile widens at that. ]

Isn't that a good thing? I like her, too.
