[ The feed switches on and the first thing you'd see is the close up face of a Cyndaquil, making noises and moving its little arms at the screen until a voice pops in. ]

Axel, what are you doing? [ A pause, and the PokeGear is picked up, moving to show Xion next. She's propped against a wall, most likely sitting on something, but the thing that could be noticeable on her is the gauze pad covering most of her left cheek. She blinks at the screen, then looks back down where the Cyndaquil would be. ]

I guess I should show a bit of my progress... [ There's an affirmative chirp before she fully turns her attention to the PokeGear. ] I finally arrived at Cherrygrove. I'm in a PokeCenter right now.

[ She pauses as she presses a button on her Gear. ] It's still a little while before I get to Violet... [ And she does have to wait for Cecil. ] But we'll get there.

[ Axel is making more noise, almost as though it wants more attention, and Xion smiles slightly, turning to him. ] We made some progress, didn't we? [ Then she turns the screen to show her Cyndaquil waving happily, his flames a bit bigger and brighter on his back. ]

What happened to you?

Me and Axel encountered a group of bird Pokemon on the way to Cherrygrove, and I tried to defend him.

[... that actually gets a pretty big smile out of Sora, as opposed to the reactions from others.]

Y'know, Pokémon are pretty good sparring partners! Might wanna catch them before you start fighting them, though.

[ fff, of course Sora would be lenient on his heartspawn for doing something reckless, but good. It surprises her a bit that he didn't do the same reaction as the others. ]

Do you practice with your own?

[now heart daughter, there is nothing wrong with being a little reckless; it's how us Soras function, you know?]

Yup! They all have really different fighting styles, too, so they keep me on my toes. Can't be going soft while we're here, right?

[ And yet we still manage to live! Made of iron or some sort? ]

I guess... [ To actually be out of the control of the Organization and not doing mission after mission collecting hearts... It's a real contrast. ]

[it's 'cause we're hardcore, my child.]

Well... I'll send Bell over to you, okay? She's pretty strong; she can handle anything Axel might not be able to.

[ Though Xion would deem Roxas and Sora to be more hardcore than her. Derp. ]

She can? [ Briefly remembers what Leon was telling her about typing. ] What type is she?

[for the record, Xion is about 100 times better at Ragnarok than Sora ever was.]

Well, she started out as a Normal type... but then when she evolved, she turned into Normal and Flying!

[ Only because she learned and refined from the best, heartdaddy. ]

Normal type? What would they be weak to?

[daw, heartspawn... only you could make other heartspawn regret being on the receiving end of Ragnarok.]

Uh... I have no idea, actually... [Sora's fighting tactic for both Keyblade and Pokémon is pretty much "run in and hit it until it's defeated."]

[ Which is only Roxas, of which she is still sorta guilty over. Besides, it's not as though Xion's going, "look, heartdaddy!" /does a huge ass Ragnarok

Blinks. ] Oh, okay. [ She'll just have to look that up somewhere. Maybe the Trainer Manual. ] So how will you send her over?

You're in the Pokécenter, right? There should be a machine by the nurse's desk-- go sign onto it using your Trainer information that's in your 'gear and I can send Bell on over.

[ Glances at said machine and walks over, Axel following her. Checks her PokeGear, gets the information, and signs on. ]

... I'm in. Like that?

Yup! Hang on just a second... Bell, you be good, okay? -- Well, I know you will be.

Togetic! [Bell's pretty much going to smash herself against Sora's face in happiness and thanks, and goes back in her ball without argument because omg going back to Trainer going back to Trainer! and... because Sora is pretty much terrible at computer; it's going to take him a minute to sign on and figure out where to place the pokéball.]

[once he does get it, though, the machine suddenly starts playing some sort of catchy music, and the screen displays a pokéball bouncing merrily from left to right. Bell is on her way!]

[... and the music abruptly stops as a pokéball suddenly pops into a slot on the machine right in Xion's reach-- new data is now displayed on the screen:]

[ Xion is staring at the information with wide eyes and wonders of the world wide pokewebs. l-lol, level 35? That must be a huge number, right? Especially for her... Xion turns to the Pokeball and takes it in hand. She opens the Pokeball and watches a light stream out from it. ]

Thank you, Sora. I- ahhh!

[ Pay witness, Sora, as your heartspawn is promptly tackled to the ground in the face by an extremely happy Bell. Hello, Trainer, omg Trainer, you're back, you're back, you're back--! ]

[Sora's just grinning a little dopily at the happy reunion, and he maybe laughs a little at her toppling over. level 35 makes you a hardcore Trainer now, Xion! you might want to work on enduring Bell's tackles, but she has grown a bit, after all.]

You're welcome, Xion! Oh, I should probably warn you: Bell loves to use Metronome. Try to point her away from other people and buildings if she wants to use it.

[ Xion comes back, not able to pry off Bell, so the Pokemon is hugging her neck tightly and her little wings flapping so fast to show her happiness. Upon seeing Sora on the other end, Bell waves happily and chirps back at him, almost as though saying, "so awesome, Sora Trainer. Thank you so much for bringing me back with original Trainer! ♥" At the bottom, Axel is staring warily at Bell. ]

Metronome? What's that?

[Sora waves back at Bell, that huge grin still plastered on his face.]

Oh! Uh... It's easier to see in action than it is to explain, but basically what happens is she waves a hand and then she does a random move. One time she roared so loud it scared all of my Pokémon and all the other Pokémon on the route we were on... another time she put herself to sleep... and then another time she summoned a giant wave and nearly drowned us.

[ Xion glances at Bell. So small, and she's capable of that? Xion hopes she can be careful with Bell. ]

I'll... I'll try to be careful with her, then. Did you train with her, Sora?

I didn't spar with her like I do with my other Pokémon, 'cause she was so small. But she does like to battle! [and by battle he means she likes to toddle up to wild Pokémon and spam Metronome. seriously, the egg turned flying egg is obsessed.]
