[ Click goes the feed, and it shows Xion looking down on the Gear, but her fingers are clearly moving along some of the buttons. Doesn't seem she's aware she actually turned on the feed, as she's concentrating on something else. Her fingers stop and she leans back a bit. ]

Right... Today makes... 713 days.

[ Xion sounds a bit amazed herself at the number, then she realizes something. It's been on her thoughts since Riku's birthday; the number of days, how long it's been... ]

Ten more days until it's been a full year here. [ She looks off to the side. ] Axel, come here.

[ Axel the Typhlosion does so, being careful of his bigger size and the flames on his back as he plops onto Xion's bed with a soft rumble. She smiles at him before turning to the feed. ]

Can you believe it? It's been that long since you and I met. [ Affectionate rumble this time! He even gently nudges her cheek with his snout. Then she turns to the feed. Clearly she did realize she turned it on. ]

Is that something people celebrate about?

[ She tips her head to one side, curious about the inconsistency in what Xion said. ]

It does, however, feel important. And while Fang doesn't mind using the Gear, this seems like a conversation better had in person. ]

[ It's not long before Fang arrives. During her walk, she'd considered Xion's statement a little more - it still doesn't make sense to her, but she's at least figured out her response. ]

An anniversary is a way of marking something important and celebrating it each year. A birthday is an anniversary, cause it marks the day you were born.

And apparently, you're only a few days away from your second birthday.

Of course it is. On my first anniversary here, Rosa and I celebrated by eating out together.

[713 Days....Etro, Xion, that's just under two years old. She had no idea, so it's hard to keep the surprise off Lightning's face as she shrugs a bit. Anniversary, huh?]

It's more a question of if the anniversary is worth celebrating. Some of them aren't.

Hmm, well... Being here, the experiences I felt... I don't think I could ever have experienced them back home. It's a big change, but it isn't unwelcome. At least, that's what I've come to see it as.

[That length of time is what pinged Yukiko to look into this. She knows from talking to her best friend that she... or at least versions of her, has been here a few times for only short periods of time. Almost a full year, for whoever this is.]

If you've made some wonderful friends here, then I don't see why it can't be something to celebrate.

I have! But... some of the friends I did make aren't here anymore. I just kind of feels a little more empty without them, you know? Even if we can't control that...
