Is... Is this thing on? [ The video feed shows her picking up the PokeGear and lifting it up closer to her face as she scans it curiously. Shakes it a little before letting out a small sigh and her finger comes up to press more buttons, and she blinks, as a minimap appears on the screen. ]

... "the world of Pokemon." [ She frowns a bit. ] But what am I supposed to do? How am I even... here?

[ Her expression dissolves into a thoughtful as she continues to scan the map, a dot on the map indicating her position. Then she looks off to the side, to the road nearest to her, before turning back to screen. ]

This thing doesn't seem like it'll give me answers... [ Reaches up to slowly turn the PokeGear off. ]

This happens daily?

That's right. This world brings in people from different worlds and timelines, and has them live here for a while. We use the Pokemon to battle one another, and as pets.

[ Have a blank stare... this is becoming a bit much. H-Hold on. ]

Yes you do. Everyone gets one when they first arrive, and then we're free to capture more on our own.

Let's see... Look for a red and white ball around you. That should be holding your Pokemon.

[ Xion nods and goes to hold the PokeGear in one hand and have the other look around inside the bag she got dumped with. After a moment, she procures one and holds it up. ]

This thing?

Yes! That is called a Pokeball, and is used to store Pokemon. Now, click on the whitte button, where the colors meet.

[ Does so, and it opens with a red light springing out and landing on the ground. Xion doesn't expect this, so she takes several steps back as the light forms into a creature. Her hand is positioned so that the PokeGear can see the little... thing cry out as it's finally out of the ball. ]

[... Sorry, the lesson is being put on hold, because CUTE THING.]

Awwww! it's so cute!

C-Cute? [ It has flames. On its back. With the image of flames, the picture of a certain Nobody's face appears in her mind briefly. ]

So this is a Pokemon?

That's right! There's all different kinds. This one is all yours... It will be very loyal to you, and obey your commands. The more it battles, the more moves it will learn.

But... just like that? [ Xion simply stares at the Cyndaquil as it begins to rub its snout. ]

Just like that. That is your number one loyal companion.

[ Still staring at the cyndaquil. As if sensing her gaze, the cyndquil turns to her and bounds over. Jerks a bit, but Xion doesn't move further away from it and kneels so that she can be near eye level to it. ]

Does it have a name? [ The question could be directed to both Minnie and the cyndaquil. ]

You can gave it one, if you'd like.

[ At that, his face comes up clearer than before as she stares at the cyndaquil. Remembering him, a brief, small smile appears on her face as she quickly decides on a name. The flames did help. ]
