Is... Is this thing on? [ The video feed shows her picking up the PokeGear and lifting it up closer to her face as she scans it curiously. Shakes it a little before letting out a small sigh and her finger comes up to press more buttons, and she blinks, as a minimap appears on the screen. ]

... "the world of Pokemon." [ She frowns a bit. ] But what am I supposed to do? How am I even... here?

[ Her expression dissolves into a thoughtful as she continues to scan the map, a dot on the map indicating her position. Then she looks off to the side, to the road nearest to her, before turning back to screen. ]

This thing doesn't seem like it'll give me answers... [ Reaches up to slowly turn the PokeGear off. ]

[ an unfamiliar name, belonging to an unsettlingly familiar face, but Kairi spots the uneasiness in that smile and decides she'll worry about that later. ]

I don't know where I am. I mean, I guess I actually don't know where to go from here... [ "Here" being New Bark Town. ]

Oh... Yeah. [ A little taken aback by Kairi's display. Haha, those memories were right! In a good way. Though Xion thought she'd be on her own as a person, rather than... you know what? Yeah. ]

[ This surprises her. Kairi must have wondered why she and Xion look alike, but... And they'd only just met! Over communications, too. Still, from what she remembers from Sora's memories, Kairi is a good person, one that she can trust.

[ After a bit, she smiles. ] Friends.

[ Of course Kairi's still confused, and she'd be lying if she said she wasn't a little bothered by it at least a little, but it's like she told Sora once. There can be people who look like both of them - and Riku, too - but in the end, there's only one Sora, one Kairi, and one Riku with their own hearts. This girl... she's sure it's the same for her. And with a smile like that, she's even more sure of it. ]

There! Things aren't so bad if you can still smile!
