Xion shakes her head. No, no, this can't be happening. Wait, she knew this place might have had a chance for something like this, but... A-Ahhghhh... She holds up hands that aren't human, gold talons moving at her will...

[ That response takes him aback slightly. Not in a bad way, but it's funny as he continues to watch her with an amused smile on his face. It felt like it'd been forever since he'd seen Xion so... happy and energetic. It reminded him of how their lives had been before things got so complicated. A reminder of those days... those days that no matter where he went, he would fight to have again, but on better terms.

In either case, he responds with a shake of his head. ]

Nope. It's just something I read in a fairy tale. Usually, it's a princess that kisses a frog to get a prince. But I figured I could be a knight that kisses a doll to get a princess.

[ His body language says that he realizes at the last moment that there's some of his statement that could be taken the wrong way... something he's worried about her picking up on. But more of what he did want her to pick up on was the whole notion of her being a princess... at least to him.

[ She was about to say something along the lines of mentioning Ven's offer to tell her such stories... till her mind snaps onto that implication. ]

[ Cue some more blushing and a quick, vigorous shake of her head. ] But I'm not a princess. I mean, I don't think I could ever fit the qualities princesses have...

[ You know, all pretty, pure, and sure, Xion's generous and kind, but even she knows she has her moments. Fairy tales... Fairy tales seem to be nice things, but they're stories. It's a bit hard to imagine herself having a similar life as princesses would. ]

[ For a moment he just stands there watching her response. No sooner than does she begin her protests combined with the way she was blushing than does he start chuckling. Well, it starts as a chuckle anyway. But by the time she finishes voicing her objection, he's gotten a good laugh and then managed to calm to just a wide smile that lingers on his face. It's that kind of response that just always makes Xion so endearing to him.

When she finishes, he just shakes his head. ]

It's not being royalty or anything like that... but in the stories, the princess is the one that ends up with the prince or knight.

[ There's that flash of boyish grin. ]

I'm honestly not all that princely... but I think I've had enough times when I could pass as a knight.

[ It's a habit of his -technically, their Other that he seems to have picked up; casually folding his arms behind his head as he continues to smile at her. ]

But anyway, the important part is that you feel like yourself again.
