[ooc: 4TH WALL EVENT! GUESS WHO'S GOING TO TRY AND FIND SOMEONE TO FINISH HER? She'll be under her hood, and underneath she'll look... like this. Just maybe not gigantic. And it can be anyone. Corridors of Darkness can be convenient in traveling around, why can't Johto just allow that...

[ She doesn't feel the sting that would come if Fang was actually holding onto a fleshy body underneath the cloak. It's all cold. So cold. She tries even harder to pull out of Fang's grip. ]

You need to stop so we can figure this out. Even at the end I thought there was only one way out, but Light and the others stopped me. And we did it - the right way. So cut it out!

[ And she'll cast Daze on Xion, hoping it sticks. ]

[ Xion actually seems to cease for just a moment... But in her state, the effects are quickly wearing off. What was only a momentary bit of respite now moves onto Xion spasming a bit as her own body fights off the effect of the magic. ]

Y-You... [ Magic. Right. ]

[ For a moment she thought she had it, but it seems like Xion's resistant. ]

I'm trying to help ya, Sunshine. And I don't want to hurt ya.

[ Still, if she's got a momentary advantage, she's going to press it - have fun, Xion - now Fang's trying to put you on the ground so she can pin you. ] You ain't ever given me a reason to do otherwise.

[ Goddammit, Fang. Why're you so strong, even when she's in this state. She's struggling, and struggling, and trying in vain to get away, but she doesn't want to hurt Fang, even if a part of her is just screaming to destroy the other woman. ]

You've never actually told me the problem, so how'm I supposed to know what to do? Let's figure it out.

[ At those words, Xion briefly stills, and it takes her a long while to speak after that. ]

[ She's not trusting enough to let up even when Xion does calm. Her voice is calm. No judging from her, considering the giant glass house she lives in. ]

[ ...Normally she would say "there, see?" but something about that phrasing makes her think Xion used the same tactic she's trying here. Or something very similar. ]

It's pulling teeth to get answers from you. So where's the problem with you stayin' here with me?

[ She stays silent for a long time, just lying there with Fang pinning her down. Xion thinks, tries to come up with an answer, but... ]

[ She's seeing a memory, and she knows it's not hers. Xion sees Fang, then Lightning, then a bunch of other people she hasn't talked with. ]

... a few screws loose...

[ Her chest tightens slightly. She recognizes that phrase, but it's hardly unique. ] ...What'd you say?

[ She views the memory again, and she feels bad for it, but maybe this will convince Fang. ]

I've got... I've got a few screws loose, but I'm a... l'Cie? Same as you.

[ Her skin goes hot and then cold, and her grip unthinkingly tightens on Xion. Well, she definitely believes something. ]

I said that to Light when we met. You can see memories?

[ Ah, so she does. ]

Sort of, and it feels like I'm living through them, too.

[ She knows she's never told that to Xion. There's a slim possibility that Lightning said something, but it wouldn't be like her to repeat word for word like that. At that last line, Fang tries to shove some of her memories to the back of her mind - she'd rather protect Xion from feeling Orphan's torture or Fang's total despair that led to Ragnarok. ]

I'm a bad person to do that to.

[ Wouldn't really matter if Fang pushed those memories to the deepest, darkest parts of her mind. Somehow, someway, those would eventually slip into Xion the longer they were in proximity. ]

... so you believe me?

[ Can't blame her for trying. ]

Maybe for a short while. I know I was made to absorb my friend, but others...

[ She isn't sure, but if she can see other people's memories by being in prolonged proximity of them, could it be true of others? ]
