[ She really shouldn't be out of bed so soon after such an exciting, but almost grueling tournament, but here Xion is, walking to the Goldenrod Department Store. She'd had hours of being in the Pokemon Center to treat her wounds, so now she's walking around looking like this to anyone who cared to look. She does have a small grin on her face; she really didn't expect to make it to Round 3. The results of her battles? Latvia: Epic. Russia: Epic and victory! Xanxus: ... Epic beatdown, but still no less epic.

'Course, Xion's careful to hide the injuries sustained on her body, and since the weather seemed to be getting weirder and darker, she's currently in her old Organization coat which, ironically, had quite the functional hood for when it really rained.

Off to get some medicine! ... because she really didn't want to hold up Roxas and Namine's plans to go to Cinnabar, too. ]

[ Later Video]

Would anyone know where a person called the Move Tutor would be at now? I'd like to see if he can teach my pokemon some techniques.

[ And as soon as Terror is hit with Confuse Ray, what does Xion do?

... Hope you allow this, Riku, because she's now climbing on top of your Aerodactyl and wrapping her her arms around Terror's neck. ]

[Yeah, now she's just thrashing about some more, occasionally hurting herself in the process.]

W-Why... are you... like this?

[ Yes, Xion's trying to talk to Terror while she's thrashing like that, still trying to hold on while Terror tries to get her off. Oh, but at least Riku can't use any of those Electric spells on Terror now that Xion's on. ]

[Why? Whywhywhywhywhy. She does not like that word. Or stop. Or no. Or bad.

She shakes her head rapidly and rushes forward. Maybe if she runs, she can knock her off somehow.

Riku's not sure whether to be impressed or on-edge. Xion sure has guts, at least.]

[ Xion's unused to this movement, but she's not giving up! You're causing trouble for Riku, Terror. You're causing trouble to yourself. ]

You're angry! We get it! But it's not like... urgh! [ Terror seems to have gone over a bump, causing Xion to bang her cheek against Terror's back a bit. Seeing stars, she still doesn't let go, though. ]

It's not like we can help you if you keep acting like this!

GyAaaAAAaAAAaAaaaAAa!

[Now she's jumping-- awkwardly, since she's still confused, but hey. Must get rid of clingy prey! Must crush clingy prey!

Must destroy clingy prey!

... yeah, Terror's thought processes are something special.]

[ Oh, very special, indeed. Xion grits her teeth when Terror's movements become even more erratic. She needs to think of something, but what?

She's wriggling, and her grip slackens... only so that Xion can try to climb up Terror's neck further.

With all the movement and Terror's attempts to jostle Xion off, one of Xion's pokeballs manages to slip off of her person and clatter to the floor, summoning...

There's a huge roar, and out comes Xion's Gyarados. ]

[Still thrashing, but she's managed to shake off most of that confusion and make it off the ground. If it wasn't for that Gyarados, she'd probably try and drop Xion from some ridiculous height, but the other Pokémon's a nice distraction. She'll just hover a few feet in the air.

More roaring from Terror. Giant water snakes don't scare her! Especially since she knows Thunder Fang.]

[ When Xion sees the telltale sign of electricity sparking around Terror's teeth, her mind instantly knows what that means and reacts accordingly.

And by accordingly, we mean Xion moves up further and manages to clamp her whole body onto Terror's head.

Like hell she's gonna have Gyarados get hurt! ]

[Grrrrrgh! Now she's just gonna shake her head some more. Nonononono!]

[ Gyarados roars in warning when he sees such violent movements from Terror. Xion's just gritting her teeth and closing her eyes tight and focusing of not falling, not letting go, not falling... Gyarados is at a loss of what to do, considering he doesn't want to hurt his trainer.

Better do something fast, Riku. Either they both fall out of the sky or Xion gets thrown off. ]

[Yeah, Riku's panicking. He's... really not sure what to do here, and Terror isn't calming down at all.

He can't use Surge, and Flare's... off doing his own thing.

Guh, what can he even do?]

[ Time's up! Terror makes an aggressive jerk of her head, practically headbutting Xion somehow and rattling her senses. She tastes copper in her mouth, hands slackening automatically as her vision blurs and black spots appear...

With a final shake, Xion's plummeting back to the pavement. Gyarados roars in anger and practically lunges for Terror. ]

[Yes! Clingy prey gets crushed! Cruuuuushed!

And with that out of the way, Terror will lunge straight for the Gyarados!

But wait, what's this? There's a loud, thundering roar from a distance! Suddenly, Flare's swooping in.]

[ Whump! Xion blinks, feeling gravity suddenly stopping and she blinks up at this... oh, hi, Charizard she doesn't know.

Oh, no no, Gyarados is having none of that. You just hurt his trainer. SO I HERD U LIEK GRABBING THROATS, RITE? SEE, I LIEK DOING THOSE, 2. ]

[Flare snorts, carefully flying down to the ground.

Meanwhile, Terror screeches, clawing at Gyarados with her talons and shaking her head wildly.]

[ Once they're finally near ground, Xion slips out of Flare's arms, wobbles just a bit before falling to her knees. Blood's trickling out of the corner of her mouth, and she vaguely feels one of her ribs smarting very acutely in her head. Note to self: ... Aerodactyls are tough.

She turns to Flare. ] Thank you.

[ And quickly looks back up to see her Gyarados jerking his head to and fro to stop Terror from clawing at the scales on his face. YOU EITHER CALM DOWN OR HE THROWS YOU BACK ON THE GROUND. ]

[Flare nods, making his way over to Riku with a really, really stern expression. He's even got his hands on his hips, which probably looks silly on a seven-foot dragon.

But, oh, Terror's not giving up just yet. She's still slashing, this time aiming at Gyarados' neck and body. If that doesn't work, she'll use Rock Slide!]

[ By the time Xion manages to get back up on her feet, Gyarados roars and slams his head down on the ground with Terror still in his mouth. The impact sends his trainer back to the ground, but she's quick to get back up again and start running to see the damage. ]

Hold it!

[Riku's gonna grab her by the arm now.]

That's not a good idea.

[Flare, on the other hand, is flying right over there to give Terror a ThunderPunch. Oh, and Surge is gonna follow suit!]

[ Her body jerks as he just seemingly has to grab the spot on her forearm that's still smarting from tournament blows. ]

Ah, but...!

[ Too late, Terror's already hit and Gyarados has managed to move his big body away from the carnage and watching with a gleam in his eye. Xion hangs her head at just how... everything turns out. ]

[Thunder Wave! Thunder PAUNCH!

They're gonna keep roughing her up until she can't struggle anymore. Once she faints, the two Pokémon head back to Riku, Flare pointing is claw.

Sighing, Riku recalls Terror, back into her ball.]

Glad that's over...

[ Her arm slips from his hold, but she stays put, staring.

Well, so much for all of that.

Gyarados manages to make his way over and bend his head really low to gently nudge his trainer, rumbling. You worried him, little one! Sensing this sentiment somehow, she raises a hand and pats the side of his face. ]

I'm sorry. [ She turns to Riku as well, when she says this. ]

[Flare flicks his tail a few times, and he looks up at the sky. He'd be tempted to fly off again, but after that last mess...

Oh, and cheering up! Surge can do that! Now he's going to whirl around Xion, clicking and beeping like a retro computer.

Riku just sighs, looking far from pleased. Worried, if anything.]

Just... be careful next time. You could've been hurt.

[ Xion looks up at Surge doing circuits around her. She sees the intent behind the gesture and smiles a bit, laughing a little and holding out a hand to Surge. Can has pet?

Turns back to Riku. It's probably no secret she's hurt and most likely aggravated her wounds from the tournament, but it didn't need to be said. She does sort of sag on the spot, though. ]

Will she be alright, at least?
