Bell, use Extrasensory!

[ Little Bell charges up the attack and lets it loose at the Shedinja Xion's currently facing. However, the attack just... fazes out upon contact with the enemy pokemon, and Xion blinks in surprise along with Bell at this. The Shedinja just tilts its head a little at that. ]

W... Why isn't it working?

[ Then she notes to take out her Gear, find out its weakness. As she's reaching into her pocket, the Shedinja takes her momentary distraction to turn and start flying away. Bell chirps in alarm, causing Xion to look up, too. ]

Ah, hey! Wait, come back here! [ And Xion tries to run after it! She's also pointedly staring at... its back... ]

... huh?

[ Bell hears a thud, pausing in her chase of the Shedinja to turn and see her trainer fall down knees first with a dull look to her eyes. Then Xion promptly falls forward, motionless, her Gear slipping out of her hands and clattering to the ground. Bell jumps in the air and tries to shake her awake. When that doesn't work, and no amount of chirping is either, Bell is working on the Gear. ]

[ Video Portion ]

Help! Something's happened to my trainer! She's not moving and won't talk with me!

[ And Bell turns the Gear to face Xion's lying, prone form on the floor. ]

Please help, someone!

It was those Shedinja! They did something to her! Now she won't wake up...

[ Cue this Togetic drooping in all manner of form, even in the air. ]

[After spending so much time with Salty, she can probably almost interpret what the little thing is saying. She holds out her arms for Bell.]

I know. But I'm sure she will soon. They're working on it now.

[ Bell takes the opportunity to jump in Namine's arms and waaaaaaah! ]

She won't be like this forever...?

[ Bell noticeably cheers up a little at that and starts flying around. ]

What should we do? What should I do? Oooh, if Axel were out, he'd be so mad. Gyarados, too. Should we let them out?

[She hesitates at that because IT'S A GYARADOS but she figures she can let Axel out.]

Would it make you feel better if I let them out?

[ Bell nods vigorously before flying near Xion's pockets and looking for the pokeballs. After a moment or two... she pops back out, looking a little confused. ]

Um... I forgot which pokeball he's in!

[Oh jfc, she hopes she doesn't let out the Gyarados one because what is being indoors. She goes over and picks a pokeball nervously, blinking down at it, before letting it out. PRAYING SO HARD]

[ A flash springs out, coalesces into... ]

Feebas! Feebas, look! Our trainer's unconscious!

Muuuh...? Why's trainer sleeping now? Too early...

Shedinja! Shedinja stealing souls!

That's... scary...

[ Since Xion only has four pokemon in total, Namine now has 50% chance of finding Axel in the next two pokeballs... or the Gyarados. ]

[Dat fish. She stares at the fish for a while before taking another pokeball. If she gets the sea dragon, she's recalling it back so fast.

HERE WE GO.]

[ Pop! Flash! Form... ]

Axel!

Hey, what's going on? Why's Xion sleeping now? It's early.

No, no, no! She's not sleeping! Her soul's been stolen!

... what?! By who? I'll burn them a new one!

Ah, it's okay! Namine said they're working on it now! We have to be patient!

Patient! Her soul's been taken away! We gotta get it back!

[ And as they argue, Xion's little Feebas topples over on the ground and flops a bit. ]

[... does he need water. She'll let Bell do the arguing, checking on the Feebas ._. She has never seen one, okay.]

[ She'll be fine with a little water! Flopping a bit some more. Oh, and Bell is currently sitting on top of a struggling Axel, since he's trying to run away. Too bad she's much stronger than him. ]

[Okay, she'll go get a basin of water for her to flop in then. And Namine's Piplup likes this idea, so she sits on top of him too c:]

[ Axel is so, so not pleased at this. >O But the Piplup makes him struggle less, and he's arguing with the two that this is for his trainer, why won't you let him be a good pokemon to his trainer? ;w;

Feebas is wheezing a little on the floor. When Namine comes back with the basin, Bell has some questions to ask: ]

Oh, oh. So you know our trainer from your home worlds?

[Oh my God, she hopes she's not the death of this... fish thing. Plop, into the water you go ._.]

[ Feebas dives further into the basin, but it's not much, but she's content. She'll just surface and stare while Bell talks to Namine. Axel scratches at the floor. ]

Is that why you two look a lot alike? Well, yeah, your hair is blonde, but... Hmmmm! [ Her thinking sound. ]

[... poor Bell, you clearly haven't met Kairi, have you. An dthen there's Aqua...]

[ Bell would be so confused even further. And she may have actually seen Kairi before, but since Namine is currently closer... Inspection! ]

Sort of. It's... complicated. Think of it like... how all Togepis are almost identical, I guess?

[... bad analogy, Naminé. Apparently Kairi has her own species now? HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS TO A POKEMON]

[ Well, Kairi and Bell haven't personally met. JUST YOU WAIT. Bell tilts her head at that analogy. ]

[Internally facepalming but how else is she going to explain it Dx Well, they're all Sora's heart babies anyway so IT KIND OF COUNTS]

[ Oooh, Bell thinks she's finally discovering an answer to a mystery! So excite. Her wings are flapping. ]

That's cool! Well, you don't look like you space out as much as our trainer, though. Hmmmmm... come to think of it- [ She looks between Namine and Xion. ] -I can sorta see spiky-haired trainer, too!

[ Oh, if only Bell was around when Xion told Sora about the truth of her existence. ]

[There's a brief flinch at that, but Bell's just getting pats on the head.]

Why are you sitting on Axel though?

[ Bell is so easily distracted. She briefly looks down on Axel. ]

Because he's trying to run away and fight the Shedinja. He should be here protecting our trainer? Oh, oh, we're not letting Gyarados out?
