[ Hello, Johto. The feed snaps on showing a Garchomp and a Typhlosion curled up almost contentedly in a circle around their small trainer like sleeping guard dogs. She's sitting against the body of her resting Garchomp, one hand holding the Gear while the other holds a pencil against her chin in thought. Deciding she can't really put her question any other way, she goes: ]

If you could give yourself notes if... if you disappear and come back to Johto, but with no memories, what could you tell yourself? What's worth remembering?

[ She tilts her head to the side, silently hoping she isn't bothering people with this sort of question, but it's been nagging her mind for a while. She continues to jot down a few more notes, quietly muttering some of them: ]

You know who you are. You're Xion. Xion. [ Scratch, scratch goes the pencil. ] You... have a Cyndaquil named Axel. You got-- oh!

[ Xion puts the pencil down for a moment and sifts through her pocket and pulls this little trinket up. ]

My own world. There's no use warning about things here when there's nothing we can do to change them, or even be sure they'll happen.

The only things that comes to this world is, well... us, really. You're worried about certain people arriving?

Something like that. And given everything else that's happened here, would it be truly surprising to see something not human find its way here?

I haven't really seen anyone but humans come here... Or, well, don't we all turn into humans upon arriving here?

[ Because she sure as hell knows she wasn't "human" before coming here. ]

Considering we're stripped of our powers when we arrive, that is the most likely thing that happens. Still, we have no guarantee that it will continue that way.

[And what he'd give for his powers and actual "form" back. Humans are too fragile sometimes..]

Besides, even it does continue, an enemy wouldn't have to be non-human to wreak havoc here.

... You're referring to Team Rocket and those recent attacks, right?

[He tilts his head a bit at that; not what he was referring to in the least, but...best to just go with it.]

Hmm. They're as human as we are while we're here, and they've caused us enough trouble already. It's doubtful they'll stop anytime soon, as well.

Yeah, I doubt that, too. We'll just have to get ready for anything now. They've been on the move, it seems.

They and at least one other person. The man who attacked Violet City last month appeared to be working on his own, so preparing only for attacks on the scale of the Magnet Train hijacking isn't going to keep us out of trouble.

So what would you suggest?

Avoid travelling alone, if you can. Always keep your things and your team close at hand, and don't let your guard down. We'll probably have little warning before another attack takes place.

You're right. The guy likes to boast a lot, it seems.

It may not be entirely unwarranted. The attack took place at the same time as his broadcast, so there was no way to prevent it from happening, and no one's managed to capture him yet. Wouldn't you boast under those same circumstances?

[It's an honest question, really. They have to understand their enemies to be able to capture them...or something.]

Not really. Villains like that just make themselves a target.

[He shakes his head at that: apparently subtlety is beyond most people here.]

He may be a target, but if no one's caught him, it doesn't really matter. He's still free to wreak havoc and will be until someone does something about him.

He's bound to slip up eventually. We're more aware of what he's doing rather than just being quiet about it and being caught by surprise more often... is what I meant.

We may know of his intent and that he has plans to attack again if his demands aren't met, but that doesn't mean anyone will be able to capture him even if he slips up. Assuming we will is only going to cause more trouble.

So you're saying all we can do is band together and hope for the best?

[A nod.] That, and fight back when he attacks again. But assuming we will stop him simply because he may slip up or because we outnumber him is reckless and foolish, and puts everyone at risk. Any battle requires planning, and we have the time to plan now.

I guess you're right on that.

Rushing into battle never solves anything, anyway. It only causes more problems and creates a larger mess to clean up when the fighting is done. I doubt any of us wishes to create a larger mess than that man already has.

Even if that were the case, messes would happen anyway if he's not stopped sooner or later.

Which is why we should take care to not cause any more while dealing with his. Destruction doesn't fix destruction, no matter the situation.
