[ The anger honestly, was more of a flare-up than anything. Unknown to her just all he'd been through since then, the matter of her or anyone making such an outrageous request was something of a raw nerve for him. Appreciably, it never came up -at least before this encounter, but it was a fairly iffy topic for him to deal with.

All the same, that voice of reason he'd only started hearing not too long ago reminded him that by the same note, he had no idea what she had been through. So he gives her that moment to compose herself which also gave him the chance to cool down some.

The silence is a little awkward -one of those things he'd never been good about handling. But thankfully, he found that Xion was quicker to speak up than he was. Unfortunately that too, left him at a loss. At least for a few minutes.

That smile of his persisted and he shrugged in reply. ]
